Advisory Council

A team was formed in 2009 to provide input and advice to the Hagen Center regarding strategies to fulfill the goals of the grant awarded to Wittenberg University by the U.S. Department of Justice. The top grant priority is to create a self-sustaining network of youth providers and community stakeholders to share best practices and help build capacity. The grant advisory council engaged in a strategic planning process in 2010 and transitioned into the Community Alliance for Youth in August 2011. According to its bylaws, youth program providers must comprise at least fifty percent (50%) of the council’s membership. The Alliance is committed to continue its work after the grant ends in 2013.
